An order has been placed to remove the present ring of bells, its framework and fittings from the tower and to recast the bells into a new ring of eight with a tenor bell weighing 15 cwts. The new bells are to be Gillett & Johnston profile and tuning. All new fittings and a new galvanised steel bell frame will be manufactured.

A new bell chamber floor and separate ringing chamber ceiling will also be manufactured and installed.
