Wymeswold, Leicestershire, The Parish Church of St Mary.

The tower of this church houses a complete six by Thomas Osborn of Downham Market dating from 1795. A complete restoration was carried out in 1936 by Taylor's, when the bells were tuned and rehung in a new cast iron bell frame with all new fittings.

An order has now been placed for all of the bells to be lifted from their pits and for new ball bearings to be fitted to the entire ring.

  • This work will begin in the tower on Monday 1st July.
