Lytham, Lancashire, St Peter's R C Church.

The Victorian ring of six at this church has had various maintenance issues over the past few years as it has aged and work has been carried out to keep the bells in a ringable condition. The parish has now placed an order for new cast iron headstocks to be manufactured for the two largest bells. These will be supplied with new gudgeons and bearings, and will be fitted to the bells in the tower. New plate gudgeons and ball bearings in cast iron bearing housings will be manufactured and fitted to the Victorian wooden headstocks of the third and fourth bells.

* The headstocks and plate gudgeons have been manufactured.

* This work has been completed.
