The 7 cwt ring of six in this tower is largely the work of Matthew Bagley III dating from 1771, and hang in a Barwell bell frame dating from 1904 which was extended by Taylors in 1946 when a new treble bell was added. The back five bells still hang on their Barwell fittings and an order has now been placed for the rehanging of these bells on new fittings. The bells will be removed to Loughborough and new cast iron headstocks, gudgeons and bearings will be manufactured, together with roller boxes, sliders, stays and running boards. The wheel centres will be adapted and be re-soled and re-shrouded. A new under grillage will be manufactured and installed to strengthen the bell frame before the bells are rehung.
