A New Taylor Bell Heralds Helston's Floral Dance.

Helston's famous Floral Dance beings on 8th May each year as the Guildhall Bell strikes 7 a.m. But 2024 brought a crisis when, just over a month ago, the broken bell was discovered on the floor of its cupola! Fast action was needed, and a new bell was cast and hung in time for this morning's Flora Dance to begin. Its sound was broadcast on local radio and tv channels, and via social media, all over the world.
