Three new bells were cast and tuned to become the treble,
2nd and tenor, the three existing bells were retuned. All six were rehung
on new fittings into a new six bell frame.

Four trebles have been added to create a new light
ring of eight. Due to the way the ropes hang the bells cannot be
rung as a ten.

and a new bell was cast and tuned to augment the ring to six.

Middlesborough

The bells were originally a ringing peal in St Hilda's
Church, and were removed when the church was demolished in the 1960's.
It 1975 they were re-housed in a steel structure outside All Saint's
Church. As part of a major town centre regeneration, the bells have
been relocated to the North West of All Saint's Church with new electro-magnetic
hammers and a control unit.

The six bells were made safe to allow
fire investigators into the church. The following week the bells
were removed from the church and brought into the foundry. The extreme
heat of the fire has caused severe damage to the bells. |

A metal plaque was cast to commemorate the four
oak trees that were planted from acorns in 2005. The acorns came
from Catherine Parr's tree which was planted by Henry VIII. |

A new bell, 1’ 6” diameter, was cast and
hung in a new framework for swing chiming to mark the 200th anniversary
of the opening of the present church. The original bell by Robert
Bolton of Wigan, 1805, remains in its original frame above the new
bell.

The Taylor 1867 ring of six has been remodelled and
rehung. The original 4th and tenor bells were taken out of the ring
and the former 5th has become the tenor. Two new treble bells have
been added. The keynote of the peal remains as it was.

The original six bells have been augmented to eight
by the addition of a treble and a tenor, cast by Eijsbouts. The old
tenor was recast and the remaining bells tuned. The eight bells are
being rehung in a new iron and steel bell frame with new ringing
fittings.

The ring of eight has been rehung on new fittings
and the poor toned 4th bell has been replaced and the old bell retained
as a service bell.

Zejtun
A new bass bell was cast in the early part of the
year to replace the cracked bell and tuned to compliment the existing
Taylor 1946 bell. The new bell proved so successful, three new trebles
were added to make a complete Taylor chord set. For more information
