The minor ring of five were augmented to make a major ring in an interesting way. Firstly, a new treble bell was cast and tuned and thena second hand bell was tuned to become the semi-tone fourth interval which is required to convert a minor ring into a major key. Extension frames were added for both bells. The result is the Church now retains its minor ring of five as well as having a major ring of six.
